I loved how the art contributed to the story and built the world for this character's grappling with his mortality. It felt gritty and authentic.

I reached 134 and this book and have yet to find the will to pick it up again. I was reading this for school so that may have been part of it. I really struggled to get into this book and hold onto the plot. I think the nature of the story being about made it difficult to not hold a negative perspective of both him and the purpose of the book. I really wanted to like this, but yeah, it just didn't stick.

This book is about a character's death at the end of each chapter. Though I do not believe any were portrayed as suicides, I feel like the premise on its own treads that line and therefore can be triggering in the sense.
