Another Pendergast mystery. Didn't enjoy this one as much as all the others.

The best yet! Still Life With Crows used to be my favorite but this one beats it! Highly recommended

Another in the long-running PENDERGAST series. This one starts out strong with the death of a major character (no real spoiler -- it's on the dustjacket) and is actually one of the more compelling of the series. Although the denoument requires a pretty major suspension of disbelief, this is a crisply written whodunit with all of the usual Preston/Douglas trappings. A hint of the supernatural, multiple plot twists, and engaging protagonists make this one well worth your time.

Recommended.

Knihy s Norou Kelly mám moc ráda. Když se k ní připojí Pendergast, Vincent D'Agosta a Will Smithback, máte záruku kvalitního příběhu. Trocha WooDoo, pár zombií, jedna malá sekta a velké tajemství? Tomu už se nedá odolat.
Další díl ze série Pendergast mě do děje vtáhl hned od začátku a neuvěřitelně bavil. Autorské duo Preston & Child, dokáže do každé ze svých knih přidat špetku té originality, příběhu pak nechybí spád ani napětí. A realističnost? Však kdo ji potřebuje. Základem je, se skvěle bavit.
