What a beautiful way to talk about grief! What an insightful way to describe art! Reading this felt like a contemplative walk in the park after I got through the first couple chapters that made me cry at my desk. Also I’m glad he chose to narrate it because his voice is very soothing and engaging.

An interesting insight in a world that one does not normally think of. Patrick Bringley shares tales of his time working as a security guard at the MET museum while working through his own grief. My favorite bits are the unlikely friendships he makes with his fellow guards. I do wish the writing was tighter as it does feel meandering at times. Still, it's a pleasant read.
