This was very sweet. I wish I read it or listened it to it while at the Met. The reference to each art work was SO special. Navigating grief through art work?!?! It can be done.

what a beautiful book that any art lover will devour. I loved the metaphors and correlation between stillness and the juxtaposition of truly “looking” at something like art and how to appreciate art. A beautiful and wonderful portrait of grief and ways we cope combined with wonderful art knowledge.

Fascinating! I expected an inside look into the work of a museum guard; I wasn’t expecting a story about art grief, family, and life. A lovely personal story (and inspiration for my next family vacation: NYC to see the Met).
