It's far better than the fist two books. It has some solid story which confidently keeps its pace.

"Best Entertainer"

These books are all the same, but entertaining. This one was probably the best that I've read so far, because it was less quasi-coincidental misfortune at every turn for Becky Bloomwood and more oh hey, these almost seem like real people.

Book 3 of Becky Bloomwood. She is now living in New York with Luke.

I think his proposal is my favorite proposal I've read and her mother's response makes me laugh EVERYTIME I read it! And now the dilemma is get married at home in England where mother is planning a backyard wedding or get married in NY where future mother in law is planning fairy tale wedding at the Plaza. While Becky goes back and forth b/w which venue to choose both parties are being planned and going forward at fully swing and Luke is having a break down.

I love this book too.. I love Suze's wedding and when Suze has the baby. Those are probably my favorite parts and then of course the weddings!

Becky made me SO frustrated with all her lies. I just wanted her to grow up and tell the truth. But still all characters and this story was so light and comfortable, perfect to read after heavy and dark book.

I enjoyed reading this book so much even though there was quite much to take in. This wasn't really believable but still I noticed how I didn't care. This book was cute, entertaining and I loved it with all it's absurdness.

(Note: 5 stars = rare and amazing, 4 = quite good book, 3 = a decent read, 2 = disappointing, 1 = awful, just awful. There are a lot of 4s and 3s in the world!)

I found this book in the series to be pretty stressful! I still love Rebecca and look forward to continuing the series, but wow this one had me on edge.

This one, along with [b:Shopaholic & Baby|9420|Shopaholic & Baby (Shopaholic, #5)|Sophie Kinsella|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1610896565l/9420._SY75_.jpg|3284660] is my favourite. Weddings are always so fun to write about and this one is no exception. I always love reading books about weddings going awry. Sophie Kinsella manages to make what should be quite a serious situation laugh-out-loud funny and enjoyable. The one thing that annoyed me slightly is that Becky dragged on making the decision because she was worried about hurting people, frankly having too much fun, and simply unable to make up her mind! That was frustrating.

My love for this one is largely because this one sees Becky in a real scrape that could upset family, not just herself. And plus we see a more vulnerable side to Luke in this book, as he begins to lose it a bit, and he's not as sure and self-confident as he has been in the previous two. I really like Luke as a character - he balances Becky and brings a calm head. But I'm not convinced two people so different would last together. I'm more like Luke and I know someone like Becky would drive me crazy!

This series always pulls me out of a slump, whether it's a reading slump, a depressive episode, or just need to lose myself in fiction. The characters are loveable and you can't not laugh reading some of the things that Becky does and the scrapes she gets herself into. Having not read the series for about 10 years I'm really enjoying reacquainting myself with it, and now there are a few more that I haven't yet read as well!
