Wonderfully funny, Rebecca Bloomwood is charismatic and reminds us of the indecisive child in all of us. Although her life would be so much easier if she could just make choices! The fact that she couldn't have a bit more willpower and choose between the weddings really started to annoy me and I kept willing her to decide so I could read what happens next.

Surat-surat khas bank agak berkurang di buku ini, padahal itu salah satu ciri khas yang paling aku suka haha, soalnya suka gemes nebak, "Waduh, belanja apa lagi, nih, si Becky."

Anyway, suka banget sama alurnya. Walaupun bukan masalah duit mostly, tapi ini bikin pembaca memikirkan hal lain soal sisi Becky. Yah, memang banyak sisi sentimental di buku ini, terlebih waktu emaknya (yang super duper ribet sendiri, udah kayak nikahannya sendiri) kirim fax atau telepon Becky, nanya-nanya perihal pernikahan. Ugh, aku di posisi Becky udah pasti frustrasi.

Iya itu aku, tapi nyatanya Becky malah suka mengulur kesempatan buat terus terang sampai mendekati hari H tetap diam dan menikmati semua hal. Alasannya sih ingin menjaga semua hati. But, duh, ini nikahan udah kayak mau apaan aja.

Lanjut baca seri lainnya~

I can't decide if I like this series or not.

On the one hand, it's cute and has some good moments and it's like reading a book made of cotton candy (which is great when you need a palette cleanser from heavier reads).

But also some of the situations are incredibly frustrating and painful to read through. The main plot of this one takes TOO LONG to be dealt with in a satisfying way.

I'll probably keep reading them though? They're good for vacations.
funny hopeful lighthearted medium-paced

Sophie Kinsella really knows how to create obnoxious characters! At least this time it wasn't just Becky. Also, this one wasn't as funny as the first two.

I was going to stop my reread of the Shopaholic series with this book, but now I'm not so sure. I still love Becky and Luke!

This book....*sigh*. Don't get me wrong I LOVE this series. The first two books had me laughing and enjoying every minute of Becky's antics. This book on the other hand just felt too long to me. Every single time I thought things were starting to come together, Becky went and screwed it up again. I get that it is part of her charm, but it started to get on my nerves when I was in the last 100 pages of the book and she still didn't know what she was going to do...
Overall, this book was just ok for me. It took me much longer than average to finish a book of this size, which proved to me that it truly wasn't sparking my interest. But as a whole, this series is still very enjoyable and I will continue on.

A funny book! The only downfall is that sometimes this main character stresses me out! I won't tell you any more than the book jacket tells you. Becky Bloomwood has her mother and future mother in law planning her wedding....on the same day in two different countries. Becky is quite a procrastinator and waits until the very last minute to do anything about this situation. Quite honestly, that stresses me out!!! LOL!! But it was a fun read. I just had to keep reminding myself, "That's why they call it FICTION!!!" It did hold my interest and there were times when I couldn't put it down, especially near the end!

I really enjoyed this story, I love Sophie Kinsella's writing style. I find the Shopaholic series really funny, Becky gets into really amusing situations and it is interesting to see how she tries to get out of them. I like that although everything works out in the end, Becky's relationship isn't perfect and she does have flaws which makes the story more realistic. I really enjoy this series as the books are such quick fun reads.

Cute. Longer than necessary? The frazzledness of Being Becky Bloomwood does not lend itself to tight editing, though.
