Another day in quarantine, another reread. Keeping this one at 3 stars. Might be closer to 3.5. This was a good book (for what it is), although at times it did feel a little slow. That's okay though. I still enjoyed it, even in all its absurdness. Only Rebecca can manage to get herself in these impossible messes AND find a way out with less than 30 pages to spare, but that's also alright because even though it's all a bit unrealistic, it's fun.
And to be fair, this book did have SOME substance to it, hidden between the lines. When Rebecca ultimately realized that a fairytale wedding wasn't what mattered - it was being with Luke that mattered more - I was proud of her. It speaks to a lot of brides, I imagine, who get so caught up in the wedding preparations that they forget to live in the moment and remember why they're stressing themselves out so much in the first place.
So it was fun. Not my favorite book of the series, and certainly still trashy. But fun. I enjoyed it and even smiled at the ending.

I just don’t understand how Becky gets away with it every time. I think she would drive me nuts!

Lighthearted chick-lit. I love the relationship which Becky and Luke share. The book was okayish in terms of story, but a few points had me laughing out loud. Good one overall.
These books are perfect for the car because I don't have to deeply pay attention to them - haha! It's sort of annoying the problems that the main character worries about. Like, in this book she's obsessing about all her wedding details - a very bourgeois type of problem, which I don't really care about or relate to. Still, Becky is a big-hearted, bumbling character, and I can't help but care at least a little bit about what happens to her. Plus, I love that she's British - I love listening to British women narrate books. It's total ear candy. Come to think of it, that may be a big reason why I keep coming back to the audio versions of these books.

This series is my guilty pleasure that frustrates me very much but I enjoy greatly.
I rather did enjoy reading about Becky's credit trouble than she herself screwing up a decision on wedding. Like, at first when her MIL decided to take it upon herself to give them a wedding but her mother was already planning it back at home, it was confusing, critical situation. But she just kept postponing it instead of just ripping the bandaid off. It was annoying.
Brownie points to the beginning though. Luke's proposal was as cute as it could be. Also, proposing at another wedding is such a bold move. I'm so glad suze was so supportive and a good friend. Suze and Tarquin are super adorable!

An easy read and there are definite laugh out loud moments. However, the main character can be very irritating and selfish at times with all the mishaps she gets into so I couldn’t give this more than three stars.
