Sweet Journey of Second Chances at Love

If infertility struggles are a trigger, you may want to avoid this one. The author handles this sensitive topic well, along with how hard it can be on a marriage facing those struggles.
The demise of both Henry and Sylvia’s first marriages will leave you rooting for them to have an easy HEA, but like most good things in life, it can’t come that easy. Author Melanie Harlow takes you on a journey with these two but provides character development and depth along the way, with a few steamy scenes for some spice. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more works by Harlow.

Second chances do not come around that often. Melanie Harlow has given us the chance to see Sylvia and Henry get theirs! From the first chapter, with the microphone and mimosas, I knew I was going to love Sylvia. She has guts and that stuff that keeps you going. Now with her impending divorce, she is moving back home with her two kids only to meet Henry. He works on Cloverleigh Farms and when they see each other again after years, there is just that something you can't ignore. Henry too is recently divorced and he knows it's not a good idea to make the move. Her dad is his boss! And it's so soon! But the heart wants what the heart wants. And Harlow delivers a story of love and warmth. This second chance at love has all the realism, from dealing with hurt children to social media to sneaking around! It has humor and angst and passion and steam and I could not stop listening. All the things I love in a story all wrapped up in one! I loved this 4th book in this amazing series!

Give Unbreakable a narration team like Vanessa Edwin and Tor Thom and you instantly know why I was captivated. Edwin is fast becoming one of my favorites. She is able to capture the essence of her characters and bring out all the emotions, and Sylvia was dealing with a lot of them! Add to that Thom's smooth, patient , yet alpha baritone for Henry and I was a goner. He found that balance for Henry's personality and I was in love. This is an amazing team with a performance you won't want to miss.

It started out great, but the daughter's character just seemed immature and the conflict felt dragged out because of it.

I'm literally so freaking obsessed with these books! they're so addicting and sweet oh my goodness

Just change my state of residency right back to Michigan for mittens' sake!!! I'm nearly a full-time resident of Cloverleigh Farms at this point, and I'm not even mad about it.

Sylvia's divorce was brutal. That kind of betrayal is gut-wrenching, and then facter in her 2 children. As a child of a broken household, I very much resignated with Whit. Im glad that she & K came around.

Henry's divorce was terrible. How could a woman just treat him like that? Ugh. His rougher side surprised me a tad bit, but in a good way
