As much as I love the Sawyer bunch, and was looking forward to Sylvia moving back and finding her new happiness, I just didn’t feel any connection at all to Sylvia and Henry. I didn’t notice any flaws in the story or pacing, and the book itself is certainly well written. It’s totally a this book just didn’t connect with me on a more than surface level situation.

I read these COMPLETELY out of order but every series overlaps with another series and I LOVE THAT!! Perfect amount of steam and romance and foreshadowing of other characters :D

3- a bit disappointed by this one
This is not a trope I'm very fond of, a broken mariage on each part with children for the FMC
I did not really like the reaction of the kids regarding the possibility of their mother being in love

This was a sweet book. I always enjoy reading the books in this series. I was initially not that into the two main characters. As they started to connect and grown to know and understand one another I found myself really enjoying this couple. I love the family dynamics in this book. I really enjoyed the exploration of loss after divorce and how that affects the entire family. I will always be a sucker for a sappy happily ever after, so true end was enjoyable. Though I found this book sweet, it did not wow me like the previous books in the series and it did take awhile before I was fully invested. Overall it was good.

Swoon worthy

This series is such an emotional rollercoaster, in only the best way. Henry and Sylvias story is exactly what I expected from this author; a handsome, determined hero who has to overcome the heroines emotional issues to earn her trust. I also LOVE that we got to glimpse Mia and Lucas ❤️❤️

I thought I would love this one but it fell a little flat for me. Not my favourite of the series.

Must Read!

Melanie did it again! I absolutely love this series! So glad we got Sylvia's story, heartbreaking but true love always prevails!

Oh Henry

There is just something about second chances that I adore. Throw in that these two are a bit older - nearing their 40s - and it’s a sure winner. It was very realistic to finding love so soon after a broken marriage.
