Second Chance Romance
Single Mom
I read this in less than 24 hours, cause it felt very hallmarky to me. I did enjoy book 4, it was very wholesome just like the other ones. I loved Henry he might be one of my top favorites men of this series. He was always there when Sylvia needed him, or anyone. I truly love Whitney and the growth you saw her get throughout the story for her being at such a young age in life. The story was beautifully written. One book to go, and I’m so excited for April! 💖

Unbreakable was a beautiful love story with a couple on their second chance at love and happiness. Harlow included so much heart in the trials and triumphs of divorce and finding who you are beneath the pain and heartbreak, and had two wonderfully different perspectives to explore it with. This was a steamy feel-good read through and through and quite possibly my new favorite of the series.
I’d been waiting for Sylvia’s story—having seen her journey in small bits in each book—and I was not disappointed. There was a vibe of her ‘getting her groove back’ and it was inspiring and powerful that she was given that storyline—and that even though she was sad and angry and displaced, she was a character who wasn’t ashamed of her thoughts or feelings, good or bad, and going after what she wants. Pairing her with a sweet soul like Henry was better than I imagined it would be. The shy hesitancy of their every interaction was always so inherently sweet, never failing to put a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart. Add in the beauty of a man finding his family and it was simply beautiful. Readers are going to fall so hard for what Unbreakable has to offer.

I'm not sure why I skipped over this book in the series but I liked it. I mostly loved the relationship with the kids and how her daughter didn't instantly love Henry and want her mom to date/marry him. I was hoping for an epilogue further in the future to see how the kids' relationship with their father goes. The heroine mentions that she had fertility issues and had to use IVF to conceive twice but she later gets pregnant immediately with the Hero, I was wondering if it was going to be revealed that her ex-husband had the infertility problem and the baby with the mistress wasn't his.

I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did… Maybe it was the fact that I felt that out of all the sisters, Sylvia was the the one we knew least about, but this book had me hooked from the very first chapter.
Henry absolutely won over my heart. Maybe it was the fact that Henry was a winemaker, but I loved seeing the way he loved and geeked over wine, and he was just such a sweet and loving character. I really liked him from the very start of the series so I was so happy to see his love story and find his happily ever after. He is so kind and patient, and I love hero’s like him.
I wasn’t sure how much I would like Sylvia at first because of how she was described in the first few books, but I loved getting to know her and to see the reasons behind the mask she wore for years. She won me over from the very first chapter. I also loved seeing her relationship with her kids and how she would do whatever for them.
One thing I absolutely loved about this book was how both characters were starting over after big changes in their life. This book made me laugh and made me want to cry and you know how much I love that in a book… I love seeing both Sylvia and Henry learn to love and trust again and I’m so happy they found one another.

Sylvia and Henry both get their second chance in this book and it’s written so beautifully. Both have had their struggles from their previous relationships but I really think that it helped them become the better version of themselves for this new relationship. I loved watching it unfold.
