No sé ni que decir pero quedaros consientes de que AMÉ MUCHÍSIMO la historia de estos dos. Pensaba que noahmeg serían mis favs pero henrysylvia se lo acaban de arrebatar

this one was SO GOOD. my favorite part was how one therapy session cured her children from being sad and bratty. no but really, I loved henry and sylvia.

I thought I would like it but it was kind of boring and so dramatic

An unexpected, new favorite from the Cloverleigh Farm Series! Wow, I did not expect this book to have such a grip on me, but it did. God, where do I even begin.

We have our two main characters Sylvia and Henry. Sylvia is now a single mom of two after splitting with her cheating, dipshit asshole husband (her words, but also mine). Henry is also newly single after his wife left him after years of ivf struggles. I have not read a book yet where both main characters were just starting over like this and I really liked that.

I think Sylvia is such an amazing mother and character. I loved her so much! She’s so sweet. You literally can’t help but root for her! And Henry if course was amazing. I think this is the first Melanie Harlow book where she’s the one who breaks it off. I feel like it’s always the guys who are just too scared to commit. But Henry is different. He’s just a gem.

Watching these two bond was heartwarming and I adored them. The way Sylvia let Henry geek over wine and the way Henry supported Sylvia in this tough time and stepped up for her kids. Nothing more swooning than that.

Also, with every Melanie Harlow book comes the dreaded third act break up. However, as previously mentioned, this one is different. This was the first time I wasn’t kind of rolling my eyes at the third act break up. I understood it and was happy to watch it work out in the end. Their happy ending was the absolute sweetest!

Sadly this is my least favorite book in this series. All of it due to Sylvia. She is the worst single mother character. She is self center, selfish and needy.

I think Whitney, her 13 years old daughter, can acts more sensible comparing to Sylvia. I do like Henry. He is man who traumatized by his divorced. But he is braved enough to face his fear. Not Sylvia though.

Well there you have it. My least favorite book of this series.
