5 swoon-worthy soul-searching beautiful stars!! I was completely consumed by this story! I could not get enough of Henry and Sylvia!! They are so meant to be together!!

me

I love the Cloverleigh Farms Series as a whole and this book did not disappoint! I loved the relationship between Henry and Sylvia from the start.

From their shared connection with their recent divorces, they were able to connect on a deeper level. When they finally gave in to the flirtation, it was absolutely perfect!

While this is not my favorite of the series, I loved it nonetheless.

I liked this story of Henry, the farm's winemaker and Sylvia, the eldest of the 5 Sawyer sisters who get their second chance at love together. They're both recently divorced and have their own baggage - her husband cheated on her with a younger woman who he apparently met when she worked at J. Crew, and his wife refused to consider adoption after multiple failed IVF attempts.
They can't fight the attraction which sparks but end up calling things off after her daughter finds them together, but ends up being the one who brings them back together thanks to therapy, which I found kind of funny.

“...the thought of losing my mom the way I lost my dad made me panic. I begged her not to be with you, because I thought you’d take her from us like Kimmy took my dad. And then we’d really be alone.”
I swallowed hard. “That’s understandable.”
“But she’s not my dad. She’s not my dad at all.” Whitney sat up straighter. “And I shouldn’t treat her that way. I shouldn’t take my anger at my dad out on my mom. I shouldn’t let my fears get in the way of my mom’s chance to be happy.”
I stared at her in disbelief, my jaw dropping. Was she really only thirteen years old? She seemed to understand my shocked expression. “I’ve been going to therapy,” she said, as if that explained everything.

This story was beautiful, like a warm hug. It follows Sylvia the oldest of the Sawyer sisters and Henry the head wine maker at Cloverleigh Farm. Both newly single after going through separate divorces, Sylvia comes home with her 2 children to have a fresh start. She meets Henry and the two form this instant friendship after what they’ve both been through. They both can’t deny the attraction between them and start a secret romance, but when do secrets stay a secret?
I love Henry with my whole heart, everything he went through honestly made me so sad for him. Him and Sylvia are the perfect couple and I’m so glad they found their way to each other.
