I liked this book but when the daughter started quoting TFIOS...I feel like she and I belong to the same generation lol

3.5

I really wanted to like this one. I've loved the Cloverleigh Farms series - with the first one holding a special place in my heart. But Unbreakable felt a little sloppy, especially considering that it's the fourth installment.

i liked it but everything felt rushed

2,5 ⭐ This was cool i guess, not the worst in this serie, i just wanted to know more about the ex and how it all came down, and his relationship with the kids , a confrontation between them , between whit and her dad , i don't know

But i can't wait to read about April , she's always there and i want to know more about her story

I just really, really like this story.

This book was fine. I enjoyed Henry. I kinda liked Sylvia. It was fine. I just felt like I was missing something while reading it and I just didn't feel as connected and invested as I did in Frannie and MAck and Meg and Noah's stories.

Sylvia's goal is to rebuild her confidence and focus on her children. However, after talking to the also recently divorced vintner of Cloverleigh, Henry, the two have an undeniable connection. Their relationship is complicated by their recent divorces, Sylvia's kids, and Henry working for Sylvia's parents but none of that can stop love. I really loved the second-chance romance of this story and the fact that both characters were in their upper 30s and had significant past relationships.

In this latest installment of Cloverleigh Farm, we follow the story of Sylvia and Henry, two recent divorcees figuring out their ways after the divorce in a small town in Northern Michigan. Bonding over their current situation, an instant attraction was formed, and soon neither could deny their feelings for each other. This book is everything you need and more in terms of romance. Sylvia and Henry had the kind of relationship that is worth swooning over. Given their respective ages, I don't expect them to be so achingly sweet together but they proved that falling in love can just be as new and refreshing no matter which phase in life you're on.

After leaving her cheating husband from California, Sylvia took her kids and moved back to Cloverleigh Farm. She needed to be somewhere she's loved and cared for with the people she loved. There she met Henry, an old family friend who works at the winery. They have an instant connection and hit it off immediately. But being a mother always comes first to Sylvia and she decided to put her feelings behind.

Even if the premises for this story sounds a bit angsty, it doesn't. It's heartwarming, sweet, and unbelievably sexy. Both the characters are very well rounded and are very very decent people. I think there's a certain charm when it comes to stories like these that feature a group of characters who are kind, loving and all-around supportive. The main characters have a healthy relationship but not without its fault.

Henry is a down-to-earth, loving and caring hero. He's unlike any other and that's only part of his fine quality. Although he had a terrible relationship, that does not deter him from falling in love and starting over. Sylvia is fierce and gentle. I don't read many stories where the heroine is a single mother but I think she would be one of those types to look up to. She went through a journey of self-discovery and juggling her role as a mother, sister, and a woman. It must have not been easy. Fortunately, the author can explore this issue and crafted a meaningful message about single parenting without losing the gritty dirty parts of it.

Unbreakable is a powerful, sweet, and heartwarming story about falling in love and loving yourself in the right way with the right person. Anyone who enjoys a small-town romance should pick up this series and this book.
