Amusing and quirky premise of an alien coming to earth and taking on the form of a mathematician who has made a discovery that the alien race wish to erase knowledge of. The first half was full of fun observations of the human race and of him trying to operate on earth, making many amusing stumbles along the way, but I felt it lost its way a bit when

This book is wholesome, interesting, and funny. I loved the unique plot: an alien came to Earth and took the shape of a Cambridge mathematics professor, learning all about humans and their strange ways in the process.
