oh, the disappointment!
I had been putting off reading this book for quite some time, but I just didn't understand the hype surrounding it, except for the yolo, dngaf, nihilistic vibes.
the boring introduction by Sartre made me eager to throw the book away, and I had to control myself when I realized the story wasn't really going anywhere. I'm giving this book a neutral review because it made me reflect on the fact that, not even a few decades ago, only cisgender, bourgeois, white men could write and publish and be considered amazing intellectuals worth reading. It saddens me all the talent, stories and potential we will never read because of class and gender restrictions.

The book itself is pretty good. Camus' message? Kinda don't agree with it. One can't simply live a life believing that nothing matters. But a good book nonetheless!
