Enjoyed this book. I did not see the ending coming. Not sure what I expected but did not expect that. I didn't love the characters and it definitely isn't a rom com but I did enjoy how their stories all linked up.

Don’t let the cover trick you. I really enjoyed the intertwining stories and there is a deeper story than what first appears.

Another good easy read from Beth. I didn't see what the plot twist was going to be and I think it's best to go in blind without knowing the plot so it doesn't get revealed. Felt like the ending was slightly rushed though.

Loved this book and would absolutely recommend it. It’s not a classic “modern romance” novel as I thought, in a way, although it is about love. The story unravels magnificently and absolutely draws you in. I loved all 4 main characters, and will read more books of Beth O’Leary. It has more depth than I had imagined.

I don’t give it 5 points because of
Siobhan’s story arc with the terrible break-up and being a life coach helping others to heal while not having healed herself.

I expected something very different, based on the blurb, which I guess isn't the book's fault but I think it was marketed incorrectly. I thought the first two thirds were just ok but was enjoying Jane's growth. The "twist" in the last third just made me annoyed and didn't feel particularly deserved.
Also really hated that not taking no for an answer was rewarded with "getting the girl" at the end.

i've only given beth o'leary books 5 stars and this one is no different. i love the way the author writes female characters and their stories, it always leaves me in awe. the writing style of both the dialogue and scenes is also fantastic.

This book is so much sadder than The Flatshare and The Switch. It's unexpected, and it really throws you off as you find out the truth.

Still a wonderful book, and it was a great emotional rollercoaster to be on.
I also like that the ending matched the timeline of our own world too.
