What a sweet, fun romance!  Cutting Out Love is my first read by Kaci Lane and it won't be my last. This book is the 4th book of the Bama Boys Sweet RomCom Series but can be read as a stand-alone.

Adriene is a hard-working salon owner who was relaxing in her pool on her down time when a tree came crashing down on her house & pool. With a positive attitude about the accident, Adriene, looks for a place to stay while her house is being repaired. Unfortunately this becomes a struggle with the inn filled, issues with her best friend’s goats and her family’s house being filled with rowdy kids, she decides to sleep on the couch in her salon.

That is until JoJo comes along to save the day. He is the boss man of the excavating company who cut down the tree that landed on Adriene’s house. He offers her a place to stay with him and his grandfather. But he may have told his grandfather that she is his fiance to keep the small-town rumors to a minimum. Adriene becomes found of Grandpa and she starts to feel something for JoJo too but is not sure if he feels the same way based on some of his actions.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are lovable…JoJo did drive me crazy at some points because he made some really stupid decisions. I did love how Adriene didn’t let things get her down. A lot of crummy things came her way and she was always so positive - I wish I could be like that at times. Grandpa was probably my favorite character - his scheming was awesome!

This is a fast read with a dual POV and some great laugh out loud moments!

Question:
What's better than a Kaci Lane book?

Answer:
No, seriously, what's the answer? Cause I can't think of anything.

Maybe it's because I've almost always lived in small towns, or maybe because the small town I live in now is Redneckville, but I can relate to almost every. single. thing. in her Apple Cart County books! And talk about one-liners! Kaci's fantastic with them! I for real laughed out loud several times while reading this.

If you haven't picked up one of these books yet, what are you waiting for? I triple dog dare you to! Just don't end up with that particular tattoo...
