This isn't your typical MC Romance. This story didn't disappoint, it was terrific, and now I'm completely hooked on The Wicked Dark Knights. I adored the steamy romance and the family in it. I loved the honesty, support, and humor. Justin and Chloe's chemistry leaps off the page, as well as their banter. This book has some outstanding life lessons and truths in it. The story was a rollercoaster of emotions from happy to sad to horny and back again. This book has later-in-life characters, a charming bad boy and a confident woman, but neither character is perfect; they are both damaged but perfect together. I hope you enjoy this read as much as I did.

If you enjoyed the Silver Harbor Series, you will love this same author, the same style but different characters. This book is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone romance. The character map and family relations at the beginning of the book are fantastic for getting to know others we might meet in this book if we haven't read it in order.

Justin Wicked, or Maverick, is a hot-headed, protective man . He has a bad past and a chip on his shoulder, but he loves his adoptive parents and siblings. He has his heart set on his longtime friend Chloe who is an uptown businesswoman.

I like how honest Justin is, living his life in a way he feels good about. He is a protective, strong male with a fantastic group of people around him. The banter between brothers, blood-related and not, is fabulous, sometimes crude, but incredible.

Chloe Mallery is an independent woman still searching for her Mr. Right. She has a bad history with men, specifically bikers. Since then, she has sworn off motorcycle-riding bad boys. What she wants seems to be in front of her face, wrapped in the bad boy packaging.

I love how sweet this bad boy biker is to his girl; everything she needs him to be in that minute, so swoony. Chloe needs to learn to trust her instincts and stop comparing everyone to people she hates. Also, omg, can he flirt? Hopefully, you're not too hot and bothered to keep reading.

Their past comes out, and wow, what a story they both share. Of course, the author brought in the damaged mc trope for both. The erotic book club is fabulous, and the girls are so using those innuendos they could make a mom blush. I love that this story is about the long game in the romance; it isn't now but about forever. This may have had an instant attraction, but it doesn't have instant in the sheets.

This book has some thoughtfully poetic intimacy. This book is more steamy than the Silver Harbor Series. This couple's exuberance jumps off the pages. The sweet moments, the romance, and the thoughtfulness are so swoony. Unfortunately, the honeymoon period ends, but we get the support of a true family. This MC romance gets a taste of drama, but I love how the family comes together. This part of the story is emotional as their lives are tested as well as themselves. This situation would be scary to anyone.

I love how they made it thru, stronger, honest, and full of love. This book ends perfectly.

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free from the Author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Thank you to Lisa and Melissa for letting me take part in this tour and for my copy of this book. I LOVE Melissa's work and I have been waiting for Justin and Chloe's stories for so long!

We have met both Justin and Chloe in the previous Bayside series books but if you haven't read them it's not important as this is where their stories being and anything you missed is caught up here. I would highly recommend the Bayside (and Melissa's other stories) though as they are fantastic books.

Chloe Mallory is careful, conservative and independent. Chloe has spent her whole life protecting her sister Serena and her past is a real weight on her shoulders. It was so nice to see that weight lifted when she opened up to Justin. Chloe is an easy character to like and I could see myself becoming friends with her and the girls.

Justin, oh Justin Wicked. You intrigued me for so long but now you have my heart. This man is so damn romantic without even trying. He has worked through his past and he is everything you could ever need in a man. He's not perfect but he's damn near close.

This story is full of sweet moments that really tugged at my heartstrings. I absolutely loved joining the Wicked world and I CANNOT wait to read more of their stories!

Ah, the wicked web Melissa Foster weaves! Each of Melissa Foster's books lets into the budding relationship of a couple and lets us like them, be frustrated and then fall in love. This book wasn't like that. I was in love with this couple right from the start. Justin Wicked has been attracted to Chloe Mallery for a long time. Each advance had her just pushing him away. Until she realized all of her preconceived ideas about him were false. And now we have them together. Their story is so deeply emotional, yet at the same time, I never felt the struggle. They were together, and meant to be, so I was never worried. I don't know where Melissa dreamed up Justin, but if I was going to fall for a biker, he is the one. Patient, loving, compassionate, he had me from the first chapter. And Chloe is just as amazing. She is fearless, battling her own past, learning herself and together they face it all. The one thing I love the most about Foster's books, is while the romance is front and center, she always pulls in real life issues and this one is powerful. Justin dealt with so much, and Foster never skimmed over it. She dealt with him head on, taught us, tugged at our hearts and let us know how life altering things are. Plus she gives us a family support system, each and every one I love. Their stories intertwining, giving our hearts that warm feeling! I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more of the Wickeds.

Now for the narration. Aiden Snow melts my heart as Justin. His gravelly voice is perfect for this hero. It gives him an edge, but Snow knows just how to add that tenderness into his voice to make Chloe his. Add Savannah Peachwood as Chloe and we have a perfect casting. She falls right into the personality of Chloe, adding inflections and nuances to her performance to bring out all the emotion. I love these two together.

Skimmed some of it. Justin has a thing for Chloe but she doesn’t really want to be involved with a bad boy because of her past.

Generally an enjoyable read but some of the dialogue between the two characters was pure cringe (for a lack of a more flowery description). There was a lot of back and forth exchange I couldn’t get through but I did like the pace of plot for about 3/4 of the book and the author’s take on the male lead being more well-rounded emotionally…until that whole absurd ending that felt pretty out of character.

Our introduction to the Wicked’s of Bayside is one fun, emotional, and hot ride in Melissa Foster’s “A Little Bit Wicked”. Justin Wicked is a man who has battled demons most of his life. He has learned to love, trust, and overcome most of those demons. Chloe Mallery has battled her own demons most of her life too. She has taken care of her little sister, Serena, since she was eight. She works tirelessly to make sure her sister and friends experience the best lives possible. Justin has had his sights on Chloe for a real long time now and when he finally gets his hands on Chloe he proves that he truly knows his way around a woman’s body. When Chloe finally sees Justin for the real man that he is, will she give him a real shot at proving his love for her? This story is beautifully written with strong characters who stand up for who they love and what they believe to be right and just. I love Melissa Foster. I have read several of her books and loved each and every one. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review which I can easily give 5 stars.

I will say I struggled to get into this book, but then I did!

This was a sweet story, not overly dramatic, and full of warmth and love.

A great read for the warm and fuzzies!

I absolutely adore Justin & Chloe! I swear, each new couple I read from Ms. Foster becomes my favorite.

She has a way of showing you what a truly wonderful relationship should look like and how we should treat each other. I love how much she puts family dynamics into her stories and shows that family isn't always about blood relatives.

Another fabulous book!
