Something fun to start the year - with lots of Scots history and custom… and humor, as Heughan and McTavish bandy about on so many experiences and acquaintances.

This was a well-narrated almanac of Scotland. Interesting info, but not so interesting I couldn’t stop reading it. It might be better to go through it month by month during the said month instead of the whole thing at once. I’ll probably give that a try next year.

Buddy listening this with my Scottish bestie of clan Douglas was just the absolute best. Just what we needed. It made this entire series so much more meaningful sharing it with my Scottish bestie.
~~~~~~~~~
Loved it just as much as the first one! I loved that they kept in the bits where Graham and Sam lose it and start laughing. It made it even more authentic. I really think just like the first book it’s best to listen to the audio version. Hearing their voices and accents and laughter just makes it even more awesome! I learned SO much I didn’t know about Scotland. Fascinating stories and anecdotes. I cannot wait for another book! I really really hope they make one on their trip to nz!
It really is an almanac, which doesn't make for a great audio book...I may try in print.
