This one was hard for me to finished. I was super into the idea of Vikings and the children of the gods. The middle was hard for me to get through. But the end was worth it.
I didn't love the dynamic between the FMC and MMC, it felt like a generic tortured and roguish man with a spitfire FMC. The side characters also felt like after thoughts and one note that serve to mainly inconvenience the FMC. Loved the Norse mythology explored in it though!

4.5⭐️ i’ve always loved norse mythology and this was such an interesting take with it. The writing was so good and I was so impressed with the creativity. This is a great, unique romanticy novel and I simply cannot wait for the sequel.
