Welp. This series will rip your heart out, but rest assured it’s not the end. It does seem to continue after this. I have very much enjoyed this series and can’t wait to see what it will continue to bring. It has no shortage of heartache if you’re into that sort of thing. The artwork throughout this is AMAZING!

Not going to spoil anything, but I must be honest in saying I read this while not quite remembering exactly who killed who last volume and why. There's been soooo much death in this series, I've sort of checked out emotionally from investing in the characters, and the war is so abstract at this point that I almost forget it's going on.
Still a good series, but the constant extreme violence, betrayals and random sex scenes are, at this point, distracting. When the big "wham" thing happened at the end of this volume, I just shrugged, 'cause I was prepared for something utterly devastating to happen to the remaining cast.
Maybe I'll feel differently while reading the next volume, but since this series has so few "rest moments", the 80% that's Death & Tragedy is starting to come across as almost comically over the top this far in.

This one was not my favourite. It's not that the story is bad, but we have no idea what happened to the characters I cared about that were still with Alana and Hazel at the end of the last volume, a lot of new characters were introduced - at the moment for no reason though maybe it will be important later. They went all in on rubbing Marko's death in our faces and I was desperately hoping that it was a fake-out at the end of the last volume. Also the end of this one seems to be another large blow to the family. As far as the plot about the war and the conspiracy, almost nothing advanced there either.
