I enjoyed this. In general, I've struggled with inspirational fiction as a genre, but Rivers truly is a talented writer. I have a quibble or two with the main characters but overall I raced through this book.

Okay story. The theme is putting God's will before your own and it plays out in the lives of the women in this story. My biggest problem with this story is the author pretty much makes it Sierra's fault her marriage to Alex is falling apart. But honestly, what woman would be happy and not question her spouse who wants to totally uproot your family without ever having any sort of discussion with his wife? I'd say he is the problem, especially after the move. He expects her to change her entire life and life style without question and be happy about it. Then when she does make friends and begin to make a friend, he's mad at her for spending "his" money. UGH!

As much as I read I hadn't read anything from Francine Rivers before, and that will definitely have to change. In this book she weaves the plot and characters in a very readable and talented way. Didn't know what i enjoyed the most, the plot or the characters. It was so easy getting invested in both

I am officially a fan of Francine Rivers. I love it when I can't put a book down at the end of a chapter. It wasn't my favorite story ever, I think, but still, I couldn't put it down. Plus, she does a great job conveying passion without getting real sketchy. haha
