I loved the unlikable flawed characters. All side characters felt real and fleshed out and the author had an interesting narrative style that kept the minimal plot interesting.

It's like the author tried to do dark corporation locked tomb, which sounds like it should slap, but instead it flops. Deeply deeply stupid narration, script formatting, and "post-credits" scene. Various obvious Internet-isms that don't make sense coming out of those characters' mouths. A number of small details left unattended, such as how the siblings get rid of the ambulance after Arthur drops dead for the first time then comes back. EMTs are very persistent. I'm not sure that Blake actually understands how her magic system works.
