I love Olivie Blake’s writing style, but sometimes it can be a bit more difficult to read because the pace can be so slow. It’s still beautiful and has something to say so I overall did enjoy it.

it isn't a good sign when i have to refer to goodreads to check whether or not the target demographic is YA. i read more than half of this book and, gun to my head, i couldn't tell you anything of consequence that happened. i can only remember that there were multiple passages where annoying characters were going back and forth about how they should have sex. a lot of the conversations remind me of gossip girl because nobody in real life talks like this. i went into this novel without reading the synopsis so tell me why this is about rich people who don't do anything??? oh. i guess that's accurate to real life but i still hate books about nothing, especially when the characters are rich. i was praying for a guillotine moment but no, there was no character development, no plot, no vibes, literally nothing.
