I liked how investigative this was, as it really felt like you were on the trail of something the whole time. While I did guess most of the resolution fairly early on, I wasn't mad, because WHAT a resolution. However, I definitely didn't enjoy reading this one as much as I enjoyed I Hope You're Listening. There just wasn't any atmosphere or tension, and the romance was SO stale and unnecessary.

4 out out 5 stars.

Keep This To Yourself was one wild ride.
I'm so glad that I picked this up. The writing was well-paced, each character had their own unique voice, and Mac as a narrator was a protagonist that I genuinely cared about.

There were so many different layers to this story that just kept me guessing at each and every turn; just when you have an idea of where the plot is going, it reminds you of something 5 chapters earlier and twists you in another direction.

I will say that I felt the romance happened a little too quickly. Don't get me wrong, I went looking for a mystery story with LGBTQ+ characters and found it, but if I had one criticism of this story it would be the speed with which Mac and Quill get together.

Other than that, A+.
