okay so I REALLY liked this -- until the ending. I felt it was really rushed and it would honestly have benefited from a slightly longer ending. that said... save me rivals to lovers lesbians save me... I REALLY liked their dynamic give me more of that yes pls

Certainly not a perfect book, but thoroughly enjoyable. The main character’s tyrannical and arrogant nature prevailing against this misogynistic backdrop, and how her strength speaks volumes, is so exciting and satisfying. The romance between her and her “sworn rival” is entertaining and easy to root for. I love these girls so much!

I thought I had a hard time following the plot because English isn’t my first language and that added some difficulty even though that wasn’t the case with other Chinese novels I read in the past, but reading the reviews I realized everyone had the same experience. Still, the main characters were really interesting and I wish the novel was longer so the author could expand more in both their personalities and relationship. I kind of had to push myself to finish the story and it took me more than one month.
