DeForge fuses social commentary, dystopian visions and humor once more. A bit bleak, with a story rooted in isolation and strained desires to connect.

The illustrations are great & lively and it's a very interesting & thought-provoking commentary on our society where we constantly have to optimize ourselves and everything around us, we are constantly protesting and complaining, but nothing changes, and where true connections are increasingly harder to find.

An extremely sentimental reflection on what exactly it means to be human, reminiscent of the tone of an Ishiguro or Salinger novel. The illustrations are a nice improvement over prior efforts on topic that so frequently leaves authors at a loss for words. They allow Deforge to consider things that language prohibited his predecessors from diving into.

Truly an acid trip - and I loved the character progression - especially when the main turns into a stick-dog :) All I kept thinking was "this is a good tattoo... this is a good tattoo...".
Trying to keep up with the changes in the environment adds to the overall chaos felt with the characters in their world.

Honestly beautiful. Not what I expected at all (and good job on DeForge's part in making me question my heteronormativity), but a moving tale of connection and loneliness and acceptance.
