Average book but entertaining, but I was hoping for more twists and suprises, I could guess the plot of the book pretty quick and thought maybe there would be more twists after it but nope it stayed at that basic level. However I still enjoyed it.
I thought the book was slow to start - very long exposition. However, once it got going, I was fascinated by the story. I felt it showed a unique point of view in a tragic situation. I also loved how the author showed that what is seen by outsiders can be so very different than what is going on in a person's life.
Audio was good. I enjoyed it. I didn’t care for the main character as an adult and liked her better when she was a teenager.
Kept waiting for a twist that never came. Disappointing.
