Finished this last night. I really loved it when I started reading it the other day, and got through it fairly quickly. I thought that there were a few too many subplots and that the author's attention to them took away from the main plot. I also did not like the last page at all. Still, a good read and I can't wait to start my next Picoult!

Probably the best complement I can give this book is that I read the second half in one sitting, and couldn't put it down. Being an agnostic, a book about how faith affects different people could have been fascinating or horrible. Picoult is an amazing author who brings lots of different concepts to the layperson in a very personal way. Awesome read.

Got about a quarter of the way through it and just couldn't continue. It wasn't bad but maybe I've just been reading too much Picoult lately. Will probably try her new one this Spring but any of her very early ones I've picked up, I haven't managed to make it through the first couple of chapters, no matter how intriguing the premise... this is the only one that I've made it through this far. It doesn't help that I was listening to it on audiobook and I couldn't stand the character Ian Fletcher's southern accent....

Really interesting, clever story! Liked that it wasnt written from a religious point of view. Would have preferred it if the ending had been a bit clearer though.
