this was very strange and i’d love a prequel from the boys perspective

"People tend to distance themselves from the insane, as if to inquire is to request an invitation to the same dance."

Sour Candy is a short horror novel that contains many classic elements of horror but with a weird, unsettling twist. I really enjoyed how easy it was to read and I think the length was perfect. I think it's going to be one of those books where I am just like "I don't remember much, but the vibes were immaculate". While it wasn't enough of a stand out for me to give it 5 stars, I really enjoyed the reading experience and I could not put it down. I would recommend this to anyone looking for quick weird story!

I think my expectations were too high for this after reading all these other reviews.
It was a clever short story but it wasn't really creepy or scary in anyway.

I felt frustrated through most of it as Phil sort of has a "okay I know immediately what's going on and I'm just chill with it and going to make a plan".

It just read a bit bleh.
