This story was fantastic and has just solidified my love for Burke’s writing. It’s hard to say too much without spoiling anything and I think this story is best to read without knowing much.

Phil and his son seem like the picture perfect family-but until a few weeks ago Phil had never seen Adam before and now he can’t escape him.

The plot moves quickly, the writing is great and the characters are really well done. It will stay with me for a long time and definitely made me jump a bit more when my son startled me shortly after I finished it.

If you like horror and creepy kids I recommend you pick this up as soon as possible-you won’t regret it. Also, don’t accept candy from strangers
