dark mysterious tense fast-paced

I feel like this story left far too many questions unanswered about the events that took place for it to be a satisfying read for me tbh. Wasn’t the worst thing I ever read necessarily but honestly kinda just a meh in my book

Honestly, this was okay. There were some good concepts I enjoyed, like the whole switch and all that, but then most of it I didn’t like. I’m not a huge fan of supernatural in horror, not in this way. I also think that this was too short. A lot of things were unanswered/unexplained.

Novellas are tough. I think this one could have used a few more pages to ratchet up the tension and better develop the atmosphere. But this is still fairly effective, and the concept is fun. A good read if you're looking for snackable horror.
