3.4/5.

I liked seeing the growth with both Martin and Parker, but as a final book and overall as a series they were nothing ground breaking or heart wrenching! I overall thought that Penny’s writing is quirky and at times cringe but would not be opposed to reading more of her work. Hopefully In more upcoming books there can be more plot and true love.

This is a adult/new adult romance!

Trigger warnings.
Depression

Overall trigger warnings for the whole series.
Swearing
Not a great relationship, unhealthy for both parties. (Gets better in last book).

Gah! I rounded up, but this was really 3.5 stars. It ended well, but took WAY too long, especially considering it was a trilogy. I *love* the quirky heroines that Penny Reid does *so* well. Quirky MCs period she excels at. And Kaitlyn was adorable in the first two books of this series. However, in an effort to lengthen the story she stops becoming the blunt/open woman we met and dives into purposefully assumptive and obtuse in order to keep us in suspense. Unfortunately, it just started to become tedious. The first book was 5 hours, the second was 6, but the third slogged on for 8 hours and it was just too much.

I don’t regret listening to the series, but I’m glad I borrowed it from the library. I loved KITC & Winston Bros so much I own both series ~ but EoC isn’t something I could see listening to repeatedly.

I absolutely loved this book. This leg of the story was the real "grab a hold of your heart and squeeze"! I just really loved these characters and the relationship that they had. I think that somewhere in another universe these people exist. :-) This was by far my favorite of the three books.

Smart girls rule. Penny Reid knows how to warm my nerdy heart. I'm completely undone with utter happiness. I love having a heroine I can relate with.

The author put me through the ringer with this trilogy. Attraction had me swooning over Martin, fuming over Ben, and wanting to hug Parker. Heat had me hating Martin, wishing the worst of curses on Ben, finding away to destroy Parker's mom and wanting to hug Parker. And then came Capture.

The story could not have a better title. It captured my heart, gave me and Parker an awesome hug and the most beautiful HEA.

Maybe it didn't excited me as much as the two other books, but I think it was a good outcome for the story. I just really like Penny's writing, and Kaitlyn was such a great character in my opinion, I love her naiveté, 'cause its got wit and is genuine, it makes me think it's cute as hell. Penny Reid is definitely getting a good place on my favourite authors :)

BEST. SERIES. EVER.
Now I'm in tears because it's over but god damn, this series was AMAZING. It was witty, brilliantly written, and so funny. Parker (Katy), and Martin's story is full of so many frustrating moments of miscommunication, lots sexual tension, and beautiful firsts.

Martin and Katy needed to get their shit together.. For half the series, they just didn't communicate. I was like SFKDLJSFDKJDFS.

Katy is my favorite female MC next to Mel from "American Savages". She is so brilliant and outspoken. She's not experienced in love but she's not afraid to voice it, I love her. She is what I strive to be. She deserved the romantic, hot, popular guy to fall for her, and deserved to experience a special kind of love. This book really had me. It had me hooked and in love.

I don't think I can say it enough, I LOVED THIS SERIES.
I RECOMMEND IT. I SHIP IT ALLLLLLL.
