Not really my thing but got me the last letter I needed to finish the Alphabet Challenge! Not many books that start with "X"!

Can you get it all online for free? Yes. Does that make this any less delightful? Nah. xkcd is the nerd stick figure comic that should encourage you to do your own research, and at the very least remind you to appreciate that other people delight in making themselves or inner circles laugh. So, will you *get* every joke on these pages? Nope! Is that a problem? Nope! Obviously, xkcd doesn’t work for everyone. That’s okay. You’re not missing a joke, if you’re the portion of everyone that doesn’t *get* it. Those of us that do *get* it are likely missing one of your... things. Who knows? Anyway, this collection is worth visiting and I myself am happy to own it.

I've always enjoyed this webcomic. I wish I was smart enough to understand some of the science, but I still get a kick out of it.

The only thing that I got out of being an engineer is that I get to understand some of the comics in this book. Totally worth it XD.

This book tries to be funny and smart. But its not. Waste of time.

fuck this book for making me curious enough to try out a posed problem (the one involving $15.05 of appetisers) and therefore making me discover i am too stupid to do anything more advanced than subtraction

Filled with old favorites, and I think it gains something from the arrangement, which is quite thoroughly not chronological.

it might seem weird to read a book of comics that exists on the internet, but I've only read XKCD when it's forwarded to me. so I prefer them in book form, and curated. you need to be a math junkie to get all of the jokes, but either way, most are smart and funny... especially the captions.

I found half the comics hilarious; the other half...I clearly needed to have some experience...any experience...with higher level math, physics, and computer programming (and the online culture of the Aughts). There were a few I could enjoy somewhat distantly, and I trust they're super funny. :) About a third of the way through, it dawned on me that I've been enjoying random xkcd comics over the years. I'll certainly read more.
