A very unique and interesting book. Unlike anything I’ve ready read before and I enjoyed every moment of it.

Okay, once I got a grasp of what was going on I couldn’t put it down! This was such an intriguing story with many snarks at productivity culture. I really liked it and think readers of all sorts would as well.

Maybe I do like Sci-Fi?
So, I really enjoyed how descriptive this book was- especially in referencing smell. There were so many exerts that talked about fragrance and scent. It was used to reflect on heartfelt moments where the narrator felt warm, pain, and sadness. I feel like the pieces that resonated with me the most spoke to (at least my interpretation) what you lose when you become utilitarian. I know that there was a deeper discussion happening between what makes a human or a humanoid but both sets were concerned with their humanity.
It was a quick read and one I didn't want to put down which is a win in my book.

This book made me understand why people like sci-fi. Beautiful commentary on work and what it means to be human.
