This book was yet again, amazing. I love these books so much and can't believe I only have one left!!
I think with every book in the series, the writing becomes more better. I do think there could have been more detail in lots of parts of the books, but I also think she focused detail on the right parts of the books.
I absolutely love Rose. I do think she lies to herself a lot, especially in the Adrian department, but when she uses his money, it’s for a good reason. And he willing let’s her use his money. He could have resisted her and said no at the end of Shadow Kissed. So I don’t see her as a gold digger. I think a lot of readers forget that she is only 18 and has little experience with love. She’s only ever been in love with one person throughout the books and the other guys were more in the moment flings. I think he behavior in these situations is understandable given her age and how she is still immature in certain ways.

This book my opinion changed over time, because the first half of the book dragged on a bit and it took me around 3 weeks to read but then I read all of the second half in a day because I couldn't put it down it finished on a cliff hanger but I didn't mind that.
It was way better than blood promise, which was my least favourite in the series so far. Shadow kiss and frostbite are probably my two favourites so far but I loved this one too
I recommend this series to everyone who hasn't read it yet :)

This one always gives me second hand embarrassment the way Rose goes around arguing with Dimitri. Sister, make him beg. Not the other way around.
Anyway, a lot of good stuff happened in this one to prep for the finale. Love the use of Rhonda as a foreshadowing device.
