Oh my God!!

my favorite in the vampire academy series!!!

YOU HAVE TO READ THAT BOOK!! AMAZING!!

Even if you're not a vampire lover, you'll love the whole series!!

GREAT WORK BY THE AUTHOR!!

4.5 ⭐️

Well I'll be damned... especially since I don't know when I'm going to get my hands on the last one.

Bloody hell, was this intense!!

This book was action-packed and full of adventures, plot twists and heartbreak. *sigh*

My favourite heroine is back again. I've read many bad things about Rose being selfish, whinny and a "two-twimer". And to be fair, she was. But that is Rose freaking Hathaway. She is one strong, incredibly real character whose development amazes me in every book. While she is not perfect, she always tries to do the right thing; her methods might be tad unorthodox but she always looks up for everyone else. The best thing about her is that she can be all those things, and still be pretty awesome.

The whole was a page turner, I couldn't stop reading. The plot got me hooked since the very first chapter, and the characters were as mesmerizing as ever. I loved reading about their different sides and emotions. Each one is very complex and continues to grow in me.

I couldn't wait to read about Dimitri's salvation. It was extremely heartbreaking to see how he dealt with his pain and how he tried to keep Rose away due to the horrible things he did to her back in Siberia. I never imagined how tortured he would be, it was so sad to read about what he went through. It made me love him even more. Lissa's development was quite amusing, she used to be in the sidelines being the victim, and in this instalment of the series, she broke the mold and fought; she was so caring and brave. Another character I love to read about is Adrian, while I've never liked his relationship with Rose, I think she is good for her. I love him, i just don't ship them, together.

There's a lot of new information about the spirit in this book, and I loved finding it out. Also, I'm not really sure there is an exact "love-triangle" here, because let's face it, we all know that if Rose had to choose between Adrian and Dimitri, she would always choose the latter. I think it's interesting, but I'm not keen on the fact that she goes to Adrian just because Dimitri is supposedly put of the picture. My heart raced so fast whenever Dimitri and Rose had an interaction because their connection is so strong and amusing, they belonged to each other. So many great scenes that made my heart stop.

So what can I say about this book? I loved it from start to the very end. And I cannot wait to read Last Sacrifice, I can't believe this series is about to end. I'm such a big fan of Vampire Academy and I'm dying to know what's next.

PERO WEOOOOON ESE FINAL

This is a great series. I find myself needing to know about what is going to happen next and I connect with Rose on a personal level. I didn't expect much from such a popular series, but the twists and turns keep me wanting more and more. I do have a few issues with the writing -- sometimes it seems like Mead backtracks too much from book to book and I get bored in the beginning chapters where I just want something to happen. I'm all about the overall plot, however. I would never have been able to tell you that Rose and Lissa end up in this situations that they do from the first book. I just long for a little more depth. And Dmitiri.

Loved this whole series but my boy Adrian deserves justice

Oh my God what an ending, I'll think I'll start the next book now

Initial Impressions 11/17/12: 4-4.5 stars
Better than the last book (Blood Promise), but still not as great as the first few.
WOW for Richelle Mead, as always, because she never fails to hit me with curveballs! Can't wait to dive into another book and finish the series!

Full review originally posted on The Book Addict's Guide: Okay, friends. Turn back now if you want to avoid any spoilers because the deeper I get into this series, the more virtually impossible it becomes for me not to say anything spoiler-y! Mostly for the books that have come before this one, but I need to talk about other things that happened in SPIRIT BOUND too!

Okay, so first off, I definitely enjoyed this one more than I enjoyed BLOOD PROMISE, but still not as much as the first three books of the series. I think in BLOOD PROMISE, I had my second book syndrome except two books late. Usually in trilogies, I have second book syndrome and I just get so disappointed because too many things change all at once and I get lost in the story. I think that was what happened with BLOOD PROMISE. We were far away in Siberia, away from too many of our favorite characters and introduced to too many new ones. Now that Rose is back from Russia and reunited with her old classmates, I totally got on board again.

What I just realized (since I'm writing the review after literally just finishing the book) is wait a second! What happened to Victor? I just realized in all the commotion from the finale of this book that we lose Victor and Robert in the plot. Hm. Anyway, we did gain Dimitri back and in a whole new way! Wow, the interactions between Rose and Dimitri in SPIRIT BOUND were entirely different from BLOOD PROMISE. I went from being afraid for the both of them to being hopeful to being heartbroken all over again. It's just a roller coaster ride - Granted, I did lose a lot of momentum in their relationship and the love I had for this relationship since the first couple of books, but I still have a lot of hope for them yet. I can't wait to see how this evolves in the last book.

Yet another surprise ending from Mead! I'm always amazed each time the plot twists that she throws into our characters paths. I can't wait to see how the series wraps up!
