2.5 stars ... per the title, this book was really jumpy! It starts off in full action, outrunning a bullet and introducing characters, and it was a little hard for me to follow at first, just so much information. I've not been involved in a gang drug war, but it all just seemed over the top. Add in the insta-attraction (right in the middle of the shooting/running no less) and it was eye-rolling. Then all the "jumping" began - all over the place/time. Then aliens. Then another gang war ... oh my.
This was quite short, less than 200 pages. This one was free, then books 2-4 are part of Kindle Unlimited or available for purchase in Kindle or paperback. WAY overpriced for paperback! Can't imagine anyone thinking 200pages would be worth $10. I wouldn't even pay the $3-$4 for the kindle versions. MAYBE I'd borrow one as my Prime pick (Kindle Lending Library) but ... I'm not really that interested in continuing.
The cover artwork bugs me ... the shading, facial features, seems really off.
Parental Perspective - quite a bit of proFanity, and a little sexual stuff, and the fact that every time the character jumps, she ends up completely naked.
