This series continues to be one of my absolute favorites, and Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead delivered everything I love about it—sharp humor, unexpected twists, and the most chaotic, lovable cast of characters. Finlay and Vero are back in all their messy glory, and their dynamic is as hilarious and heartwarming as ever.
The mystery had me hooked from the beginning, and I was constantly flipping pages (or hitting “next” on the audiobook!) to see what kind of trouble they’d stumble into next. Elle Cosimano somehow manages to blend real danger with laugh-out-loud moments, and it works so well.
I honestly can’t get enough of this series, and I’m already looking forward to whatever Finlay gets roped into next.

Started this shortly after the first, but think too much of a good thing... Was so similar to the first in terms of mess ups and quick coincidence fixes I wasn't wanting to read it. So after a break where I had to return it to the library and wait to get it again, it was much more entertaining.
Overall fun fluffy murder. Still a bit silly in how things work out and unbelievable in points of what happens, but it's fiction, so all in the name of being entertaining. And I liked the set-up for the next one, which since it's not out yet I will get a nice break and be ready for when it comes out.

If you're up for totally unrealistic storylines, this is a lot of fun. Liked it just as much as the first.

Really 4 1/2 but deserves the round up. No matter how ridiculous the situation, Finlay always wins me over, and the ending is very satisfying.

This is book 2 of the series and I really enjoyed it too! These books are pretty over the top, but that is part of their charm. It's one bad thing to another bad thing with Finley trying to fix it and just making it worse. Very funny and entertaining.
