This book was like the first. So cringy, not realistic, predictable. But this is like a guilty pleasure book. You just have to keep reading. It’s so silly and a light read. But I am enjoying the characters more and it seems like more will happen in the next book so I’m excited to read it.

I feel the same way about this one as I did about number 1 in the series. A unique protagonist and plot, but it feels wordy and too long. But a generally fun and light-feeling murder mystery. The Vero subplot made me sad in this one though.

It took me a long time to finish this book, which really shows how not thrilling it is.
