Good, but it's just not quite as good as the first in the series, which seems to be the theme of my reading journey lately. It was still entertaining, somewhat funny, Vero is still my favorite and was a well-written continuation of the storyline.

Maybe it was just me, but I wasn't as invested in Finlay's 'adventures' this time around. The suspense fell a bit flat, and the dramatic moments seemed to interfere with the overall flow. Not bad, though, and the ending was
