there were a lot of times where i was like 'what???' but overall it was enjoyable to read. the tension JEEZ WOAH, and for a sec i thought there was gonna be no smut, it's definetely a plot/tension/build-up book!! and after reading the other two books, i do love roryangelo even more. there were a few confusing moments but not gonna lie, alot of the stuff i didn't see coming,

never saw the sea escapade coming lmao

Plot: Rory is engaged to a 70 year old, gross, old mafia boss - Alberto. Under Alberto’s control, Rory is living with her soon to be husband, when his nephew, Angelo returns home. ♣️ I loved the forbidden romance between the characters. Plus there is so much sexual chemistry - she is his uncle’s fiancée and he cannot touch her… 

Writing: The writing is so enjoyable!! The writer clearly portrays each character’s personalities and internal conflict. 

Characters: Rory such a lovable character, she would do anything for her father, including marry a creepy, old man. Angelo is your reformed bad boy, who seems to quickly revert to his dark ways as soon as he meets Rory. 

Overall: This is one of my favourite books and this series is so addictive. The had be gasping and blushing. So many secrets and confessions!

I thought that I’d enjoy this book as I had seen lots of people recommending it, but it sorely let me down. I had expected something a lot less like a Wattpad fan fiction than this. I wish I’d gone in beforehand knowing that Aurora curses in ‘bird words’ — and I’m not f*cking kidding. This book was such a painful read with a wildly predictable ending and a boring plot progression. And for all you smut-lovers, go ahead and skip this one. The *spice* was sub-par at best. If you’re looking for a published version of your favorite ‘mafia boss x reader’ fan fiction, this is up your alley. If not, don’t waste your time.

Tbh, I expected more from this book. The writing was cringe sometimes and the characters gave me some second-hand embarrassment in some scenes. 

The book was not terrible but definitely on the lower scale of good mafia books.
