*Thank you to the author for this free copy in exchange for an honest review! All opinions are my own.

I really loved He’s A Brute, so I was elated to read this sequel, She’s A Spitfire, and follow more of the story between Zed and Nairne.

I may even love this one more because we get to see how fierce and brave Naine is. This really is a great series and I’m excited to see where things head next.

All the stars for this fun, steamy series!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoyed He’s a Brute book 1 in this series and Book 2 She’s a Spit Fire did not disappoint! This second book has a lot more suspense and action then book 1 which made it even harder to put down!i did however feel like book 1 was a bit steamer then this one! (Not to say this one wasn’t steamy because it definitely was)
Zed is making his escape from the Mafia so he can move to England to be with Nairne but even if he escapes the mafia Nairne has a dark secret from her past that will put them right back in harms way! A fun, but suspenseful romance I’d highly recommend! I can’t wait to see what happens in the final instalment available in August!

Thanks to the author Chloe Liese for this ebook in exchange for my honest review

In my quest to read my tbr as it was on 1st January 2022, I've reached the second book in the Tough Love series. I read the first one back in 2020, and to Liese's credit, it didn't take me long to get reacquainted with Zed and Nairne. I think it's rare that the same.romance pairing gets more than one book (and there are three in this series!). It stretches out the narrative, and leaves space to get to know the characters and the world they inhabit.

This book went on a journey, starting out in the Mafia world which Zed is trying to leave, and ending somewhere else entirely. It all made sense as I read it, but for such a relatively short book, it felt like it packed a punch.

There's lot to like in this book, and it's definitely recommended for readers enjoying the romance genre, but I do prefer Liese's Bergman Brothers-series to this one.

I don’t really want to sit through the rest of this book to see the Nella take down…

It is I the Chloe Liese stan.
Although the Bergman books do in fact work better for me I also really liked this installment in Chloe's OG series. :)

I loved this! So much. There were some lovely Easter eggs that were easy to find because obviously, but it was satisfying nonetheless.
