Leaving book one left me wanting more and now with book 2, I am mesmerized by the characters. Seth and Laura have changed a lot over the years, life settling in and their separation effecting both. But even them being apart has not stopped their love. The reunion is far from hearts and flowers. Their love is raw and emotionally charged. And they just can't stay away from each other. But is love enough? Seth has embedded himself deeper into his world. He is darker and extremely dominant. Laura is having a tough time figuring out what she wants. She loves this man, but she loves her normal too. And just as passionate as these two are, the secrets keep building! There are a few answers to some questions, but for every one, we have a new question. Winters is the master of suspenseful building in her books, and I am left speechless at the end of this one. It's dark and gritty, unforgivable and impossible not to love. Bring on book 3!

Joe Arden and Samantha Cook continue the narration of the series. These two are amazing together. I am loving Arden as this dark, alpha male. He is gritty and frightening in one breath, but has that undying love coming through. Cook is such a talent, as she gives Laura the voice of indecision. Which what to turn? These two are consummate professionals and they just enhance this story with their interpretations. Loving it and can't wait for the conclusion!

Desperate to Touch is the second installment in this series of Seth and Laura's story, and these are not standalone novels.
I am totally overwhelmed by the feeling and emotions. Willow has such a way with words that it will make you part of the story. Her descriptions, attention to detail and overall storyline will rock your world and heart, and not put them back together until she’s ready!
Once again it ends on a cliffhanger, but I know this lady won't leave us hanging for long, so don't be discouraged in one clicking this book. It's so good why wait.

Intense chemistry between Laura and Seth when they are reacquainted as adults. Secrets and some mystery going on had me reading nonstop. These 2 have a burning chemistry that shows even when they aren't what they used to be, you can feel how they are meant to be. I', starting book 3 now, I need answers

Damn Willow sure knows how to write.

I really liked this book!

Seth and Laura are so angsty and have a push and pull relationship which I love. Seth can be so affectionate and so dominant. However for some of the shit he does to her, like making it seem like he is using her for sex, Laura can be a real pushover which I find a little annoying.

I’m so curious to meet Marcus because of how fucking dangerous and manipulative he is. He always seems I’ve step ahead! I think we also met the love interest from this series maybe??

I really liked Walsh and I’m so curious about his past with Marcus. He actually seems like a good guy who wants to help.

Desperate to Touch by Willow Winters is a romantic suspense that I listened to on audio narrated by Samantha Cook and Joe Arden.

Willow does an amazing job pulling you into the story. I absolutely love the chemistry between Seth and Laura and each book in this series gets better and better. The book does end on a cliffhanger but that was not a surprise since its part of a series. I cannot wait to dive into the next book in the series Tempted to Kiss.

Joe and Samantha did an amazing job on the narration. They really brought the story to life.

I would recommend this book if you love romantic suspense.

This review is one of the hardest one I have written in a very long time. No words can do this complex and heart wrenching story justice. Seth and Laura have so much against them that each and every turn of the page felt like I was waiting for the shoe to drop and for my heart to stop. Willow Winters is known for her intense storylines but this books is far from the others that have come before. 5 Stars are not enough and if you can only read one book this year than this is the one that you MUST read.

"I’ve fallen for this man once. If I do it again, I’ll cross the point of no return. I’m sure of it."

"I’ve heard there’s a thin line between love and hate, but damn, I never knew how true those words were."

Desperate to Touch is book two and continues where it left off from book one. What I loved about this latest installment is the angst and chemistry between Seth and Laura is still the same. Or should I say, more. You could feel their emotions leaping off the pages- the yearning, overwhelming passion and love they have for each other. I think I was going to die from the feels while reading this book.

Aside from that, the story got more intense with an imminent danger surrounding them. A mystery man, whether a friend or a foe, is taking a huge role in this story. With that crazy cliffhanger, I can't wait to read book 3, gah!
