It wasn't what I was expected and I was so confuse by the story but I'm curious to see where it will go...
This was great. Slightly difficult to get into, but the characters were a brand of complex and human I have yet to see in any graphic novel so far, my experience being albeit very limited. Excited for what comes next!
An enjoyable read, the concept of the Wytches was interesting and I although I didn't expect the twist at the end I felt like it was a bit rushed. Overall, I found the wytches themselves intriguing and I liked the idea of them . In the end, it just shows how selfish humans can be when they're willing to do the unthinkable especially .

Scott Snyder hits more than misses for me, and I've had this on my shelf for a while before finally picking this up, and I devoured it in basically one sitting.
Oops.
Still, an interesting, creepy read about a generational "pledging" of sorts involving witches and supernatural craziness. The artwork is perfect for the chaotic mood, and the constantly-shifting setting giving the sort of narrative structure that makes this work so well.
Just a solid read across the board, and I don't know if we'll ever see more from this, but I know I'll be diving right in if we do.

Holy crap, this was scary. Like, the scariest, like, not just CREEPY but FRIGHTENING. Be warned, and then read this, because aaaaauuuuugghhhhh.
The art is a little muddy--on purpose, but that's something I struggle with so fair warning. But oh my god, the tension and the horror and I love Sailor and her dad is like the anti-Jack Torrence on a lot of levels that I need to think bout and I cannot WAIT to read the next one.
(Also? There's no forest in Litchfield, NH, that goes all the way to the ocean. I will admit to reading it initially because Sailor was going to my high school, but there wasn't enough detail to get any joy from that.)
Scary as all hell.

Very creepy graphic novel! I think I'd recommend for grades 10 and up as there is a lot of inappropriate language/imagery.
I really loved this. This is a comic that I just happened upon on Humble Bundle and went into it pretty sure it would only be mediocre and I wouldn't want any others in the series. I was very wrong.
It was very very creepy and very unique and it felt somewhat like Locke & Key.

This comic series has everything I like. Stunning art, unique and creepy settings, and a deeper story that touched my heart. I genuinely adored Wytches as one of my favorite comic series of 2015. It is beautiful in art and words.
