Awwwwwwwwww. A lovely picture book for a mum (or dad) to read aloud to their tiny one. It follows a baby's growth from being "small and trembling" (like a bunny), to "yawning and flopping" (like a piglet), to smiling! (like our own baby). So yeah it's adorable.

Got a signed copy for my Rambunctious Kindergartener, when I was attending Nola StoryCon.
Read this to her and she really enjoyed it. She even gave a Awww! at the ending.
It's such a sweet story to read to a little one and this book will be treasured since it's signed by Melissa Marr for my little one. :)
It's her first signed book by an author and not her last either.

I love the artwork in this book, and I think there is a nice blend of new and old vocabulary for my toddler.

This sweetly illustrated picture book is all about a mother's love, and the story's beginning universalizes this to foster and adoptive families as well. Basically, the mother comes across a child and starts caring for it, and I appreciate the flexibility this offers.
