My first time reading a book in Japanese! Slice of life; very relaxed pacing. I enjoyed the fact that the slang is similar to what I hear in Miyagi - made it easier to guess at the meanings.
The Wanikani online book club helped immensely with vocab, parsing words from each other, and translations of specific phrases/sentences.

This was cute... but not much happened? I would have a lot more plot, but the characters were cute, at least.

This is a cute light-hearted slice of life type manga. It does have a good number of certain tropes that make it easy to tell when it was written. If you don't mind them, then this is a great book for spooky season.

This was cute and a quick read. I recommend this if you’re looking for some light slice of life with a bit of a supernatural twist to it. If you like non non biyori or laid back camp you’ll like this.

It is a very cute story, but I found myself drifting away from it and not wanting to pick it back up. The vibes are great, but I think I need something a little bit more to really pull me in and keep me interested. So for now, I am just going to put this book aside.
