This gave me Kiki's Delivery Service vibes, but if it was set in high school. Makoto is a so far a really great character and I can't wait to continue. It's a very slice of life supernatural story with a lot of humor. I'm really happy that I picked up this manga.

While I am glad that I finally got a chance to read this, I don't think it's for me. This isn't to say that the book is bad at all, far from it! It's very light-hearted and whimsical, and I'm sure this will be perfect for someone who enjoys slice-of-life stories with a touch of magical realism. This just isn't what I wanted it to be, and that's okay. It's not for me. Do give it a chance though if you're in the mood for something light and fluffy!

THIS. MANGA. WAS. DELIGHTFUL. What a lovely little no-stakes slice-of-life story with a witchy twist! If you take the plot of Kiki's Delivery Service and mix it with the 4-koma silly humor of Azumanga Daioh, you'd probably get something pretty close to Flying Witch. I love both of those things, so this was right up my alley. So good!
This was pretty cute! I'm not totally in love with the characters or the sense of humor yet, but I think I will be in future volumes.

I love this manga. It has such a nice feel to it. For those people who are here looking for plot. This manga isn’t what you’re looking for. Flying Witch is more of a slice of life manga that follows the daily life of a 15 year old witch named Makoto. It perfectly integrates the use of magic and creatures into the daily lives of the characters. It doesn’t feel like some sort of alternate world that has magic but our world with someone who happens to have it. I watched the anime before reading the manga which was how it was brought to my attention. The anime is also really good. The characters are all unique and their dynamics are nice. I would 10/10 recommend this to people who like slice of life and magic.
This is definitely a slice of life series. Feels a lot like Keiki's delivery service, where not a ton happens except some cute light interactions.
It is very light on dialogue, but I liked the art style a lot.
I won't be continuing the series, but if you are interested in something with great art and some cute dialogue worth trying.
