Things moved quickly between Peter and Evan, but it felt like they arrived at friendship before they arrived at sex. I look forward to more books in this series.

I enjoyed this! :) I really liked Peter! I'm so glad Evan was there for him and that they basically found each other through Harry!

Trigger Warning:
- Putting an animal (dog) to rest
- Mentions of infidelity

3.5 stars.

The move from friends to lovers was a bit too quick, I'd have liked a bit more time spent on that but loved the rest of it. A sweet and resonably angst free story.

Off to buy the next two books in the series.

Lovely story

This is such a lovely story. Peter is about to lose his beloved dog and Evan is the vet who comforts him through his loss. The comfort turns into a friendship and attraction, which knocks Peter for six, since he's straight- he's got the ex-wife and 2 kids to prove it.
He comes to accept his attraction and eventually falls for Evan. The relationship was slow and sweet. Loved it!

A sweet story with heartache – I was not expecting to like this as much as I did.

First: trigger warning – the dog dies, but it’s from old age and it’s not a secret. It happens right in the beginning.

Second: I loved the romance and relationship between Peter and Evan. For a short story, it packed a lot feeling and sexiness within its pages. I’ll be continuing this series.
