I prefer Avatar to Korra animated series, but this graphic novel felt like a natural expansion of the stories and world... a quick diversion of a book... Korra's world always felt too dark and adult for some reason without as much of the levity and group dynamics presented in the original Avatar series... and with the backdrop of the world as it is now, I think I'm just preferring escapism to dealing with heavier, real world topics, which we face daily... All in all, love reading more about Korra and the gang though
